This week’s installment in the ongoing Wu-Wednesdays series may come at a slightly higher cost thanks to unnecessary tariffs being wielded as a weapon against imaginary adversaries while your real enemies smile in your face and laugh at you behind your back, but I’m determined to squeeze every ounce of entertainment value out of these mixes for you, the listener, because you deserve it. Come, join us in the wonderful world of Wu-Tang, a mystical land you may have visited years ago and hadn’t thought to return to after hearing word that its denizens had, to use hip hop parlance, “fallen off.” They just aged, that’s all. These guys are just as capable of creating good music today as they were in their prime, or at least that’s what I’ve discovered after hitching my wagon to the movement decades ago.
A reminder: the first eleven episodes have been removed on the Mixcloud site to free up space, but the songs from each (the ones that are available, anyway) are thriving over on the RandoMax Radio Spotify channel, with tracks from the older episodes being added as they get removed. Give it a look when you get a chance – every like and follow helps me out tremendously.
Enjoy!
-Max
