RandoMax Radio Presents: Wu-Wednesday #25

So what do we have going on this week’s edition of Wu-Wednesdays? Soundtracks, that’s what. Specifically, I’m looking at some of the soundtrack offerings the Wu-Tang Clan (and their offspring, biological or otherwise) have submitted to various music supervisors across Hollywood, landing placements on various soundtracks for movies and the occasional television program. I tried to keep this as simple as possible, which means, yet again, in no way is this a comprehensive listing of Wu-Tang songs found on soundtracks. This is simply ten examples of the trope, none of which derive from any Wu-related film or streaming show (sorry, Ghost Dog fans, I’ll get you another time), most of which can only be found on said soundtrack (unless it happened to pop up on a mixtape or greatest hits compilation or something), and all of which bang. Enjoy the show, folks.

A reminder: Early episodes of Wu-Wednesdays have been removed from the Mixcloud site as a way to free up space, but the songs from each (the ones that are available, anyway) are thriving over on the RandoMax Radio Spotify channel, with tracks from the older episodes being added as they get removed. Give it a look when you get a chance – every like and follow helps me out tremendously.

Enjoy!

-Max
