I'm still working diligently to end this hiatus - I wanted to come back at the beginning of July, but real life got in the way and left me unprepared. (That whole The Lost Tapes II thing? An aberration, albeit one that would have happened regardless - I mean, I've written about all of his other shit, so...) I should finally have a handle on this, so pop back in on August 1 to see what kind of changes are afoot at HHID, because they will be pretty noticeable.
For now, onward to July's episode of RandoMax Radio.
Episode 9 compiles another sixteen tracks from varying genres that converge into a singular listening experience, one that is much more cohesive than one would believe. If you've been following this series since its inception, or even if you're new but heard last month's installment (welcome!), you know what to expect here, but also, you won't know what to expect here. As I've mentioned before, I'm hardly the first person to encourage folks to listen to more than one genre of music. But I hope you enjoy this, because this time around I built everything around a fictional storyline simply because I was feeling goofy that day.
Nobody's saying you haven't heard any or all of these songs before, but you've never listened to them within the presented context. If you want to know what the hell it was you just listened to, check back in a few weeks for the official tracklist.
EDIT: Tracklist now available below.
1. "To Cut a Long Story Short" - Spandau Ballet
