The ninth episode of the Max-Approved Mixtape comes at a point where the Stateside audience is sitting around waiting for a stimulus check from the government that in no way will ever make up for losing a fucking year of our lives to a pandemic that still rages on, while the rest of the planet has to put up with the same bullshit, although with varying degrees of support from their respective governing bodies. What I'm saying is, you two may be more than a little bit distracted right now, but hopefully this month's mix will help alleviate some of your stress.
Episode 9 of the Max-Approved Mixtape features another ten hand-selected hip hop tracks taken from various eras of our beloved culture and curated in a manner that puts each song in a new light. There is no expiration date on good music, but perhaps some of these you haven't spun in a while, so you may find some pleasant surprises within the tracklist below.
MAX-APPROVED MIXTAPE EPISODE #9:
1. Smoothe Da Hustler - "Broken Language" (featuring Trigger Tha Gambler)
2. MC Paul Barman - "The Moon" (featuring Masta Ace, Del the Funky Homosapien, & C-Rayz Walz)
3. Black Sheep - "Similak Child"
4. Rhymefest - "Dynomite (Going Postal)"
5. Kool Keith - "Lovely Lady"
6. Gang Starr - "F.A.L.A." (featuring Big Shug)
7. Psycho Les - "Feel It Baby" (featuring K-Solo and Black Attack)
8. Clipse - "Ride Around Shining" (featuring Ab-Liva)
9. MF DOOM x Damu the Fudgemonk - "Coco Mango"

Feel free to like, repost, and share as often as you'd like - this mix certainly won't ever trend on social media, but that doesn't mean you two shouldn't at least try to make it happen..
Until next post!
-Max
