Episode number forty of this here Wu-Wednesdays mix show side project thingy is my best work so far. Obviously I believe that every episode is my best work so far, because if you aren’t constantly improving at your craft then what the fuck are you even doing, just go back to your day job and leave this shit to the actual creatives in the world, am I right?, but I did find myself enjoying this week’s entry into the Wu canon more than usual while I was editing the motherfucker together. This time around we have ten Wu-Tang and Wu-affiliated tracks, all of which are varying degrees of “banging”, but this week everything featured has been produced by Havoc of Mobb Deep, a longtime friend of the family (and former labelmate of the proper Clan), so there’s an added layer of thematic consistency here. Add to that the usual nonsense these tend to bring out of me, this time being very very specific (and something older Wu heads may appreciate, you'll just have to listen to find out), and you have yourself another winner that deserves to be shared on all your socials.
There are thirty-nine previous episodes of the Wu-Wednesdays side project, but only the most recent are available on the Mixcloud site. The rest, or at least the songs featured wherein, live on at the RandoMax Radio Spotify channel, with tracks (the ones “they” want you to hear, anyway) being added to the playlist as they get taken down elsewhere.
