This week’s entry into the Wu-Wednesdays catalog has no real theme, apart from the interludes, which always seem to be related in some fashion unless they very clearly aren’t. Look, in the United States it’s a holiday week, so a lot of our minds are elsewhere, and sometimes you just need to hear good music without having to overthink shit. This week is perfect for that, whether you use this as a soundtrack while cooking or for bumping on your car stereo on Black Friday as you hit shoppers in the parking lot who were supposed to be boycotting, but whatever. Also, I cannot be held responsible if you actually do that thing I wrote in the previous sentence, as everything on HHID is classified as “satire”. Allegedly.
There are forty-eight previous episodes of the Wu-Wednesdays side project, but only the most recent are available on the Mixcloud site. The rest, or at least the songs featured wherein, live on at the RandoMax Radio Spotify channel, with tracks (whatever’s available, anyway – some are easier to find than others) being added to the playlist as they get taken down elsewhere. Although if I’m being honest, Spotify is kind of bullshit these days, so I’ve put together an alternative over at YouTube Music, which has more of the tracks available anyway. Give either one a look when you get a chance and tell anybody you know who may enjoy something like this – I appreciate every little bit of support you can offer.
Enjoy!
-Max
