The Twelve Days of Wu-Mas 2025 - Day #7

Today's Wu-Mas gift is something that I've been working toward for just over a year now, and... well, would you look at that, today just so happens to be Wednesday.

Huh.

RandoMax Radio Presents: Wu-Wednesday #54 (THE GRAND FINALE)

This is it, folks: the grand finale of the RandoMax Radio Wu-Wednesdays side project. With this week’s entry, we’ve worked through fifty-four weeks of Wu-Tang, showcasing songs both well-known and rare as fuck from both the more popular Clan members to the barely-there affiliates that I’m certain you all believe I’m making up as I go. I want to thank those of you who have followed me on this journey for the past year, and if you’ve only listened to some of the episodes, I thank you as well, because every little bit helps. Everyone else should go listen to the episodes while you still can – there are hints as to how to go about doing just that below – because music is meant to be enjoyed.

That said, this final entry into the canon is a lot like most of the other episodes, in that we present both old and new Wu material for your ears and, hopefully, your playlists. This wound up being more of a mix of some of the general themes from throughout the year, though – instrumentals, B-teamers, Z-teamers, and whatnot – but I’m okay with that, since the ideal listening experience would be to take every song featured and play them on ‘shuffle’ anyway. There’s also the usual goofy nonsense thrown in for my own amusement, and there may be some additional features included that you’ll only really find out about when you listen.

Enjoy your New Year’s celebrations, if that’s your thing, and have some fun with this finale. RandoMax Radio forever!

There are fifty-three previous episodes in this Wu-Wednesdays side project, but only a handful can be featured on the Mixcloud site. The rest, or at least the songs I can find, will live on at the RandoMax Radio Spotify channel, with tracks being added to the playlist as they get taken down elsewhere. I’ve also put together an alternative over at YouTube Music in case you’d rather not use Spotify, which has more of the tracks available anyway, so that’s clearly the better option, folks. Give either one a look when you get a chance, let me know what you think, and tell anybody you know who may enjoy something like this – every little bit of support you can offer is appreciated more than you’ll know.

Enjoy!

-Max
