RandoMax Radio Episode #6!

These episodes of RandoMax Radio have definitely helped me keep the blog alive - as one could imagine, constant negativity, coupled with consistent exposure to terrible music, can certainly color one's views of our chosen genre, let alone any genre. Putting together playlists of songs I actually like has helped me maintain my thin veil of sanity, and this month's entry (the sixth!) is no exception.

Although I'm doing my best to pick up steam regarding the actual "review" postion of the blog (although there are over eleven years' worth of choices to click on, come on, don't be like that), it should go without saying that these podcast episodes are quicker to put together (once I decide on the songs to use, obviously, a process that takes much longer than you might think), and I'm having a lot of fun with them. Hopefully some of that enthusiasm comes out in the work itself. Click 'play' below and find out for yourselves.

As is the custom, the tracklist will be revealed at a later date, so until then, keep an ear out, as you'll likely find your new favorite song here.

Your continued support is very much appreciated, so don't forget to subscribe to the RandoMax feed to listen to previous episodes and to receive updates before they appear here. You can also troll me on Twitter at @hhid_Max. And of course, you can leave your comments, thoughts, song and/or article suggestions, and whatever other content you two can conjure up below.

Enjoy!

  1. Nice mix, I liked this one a lot actually - plenty of stuff in here that I had't heard before too.

Pet Shop Boys and C-N-N on the same mix - didn't expect that...! (I realise the track isn't actually credited to the Pet Shop Boys but let's face it, may as well be).

    1. It does sound an awful lot like a Pet Shop Boys song, now that you mention it

  2. I don't know why, but I'm always amused that Nore seems to be on every one of these mixes.
