RandoMax Radio Episode #10!

Episode 9 of RandoMax Radio ended up charting on a list of indie rock mix shows on Mixcloud. Not exactly what you'd probably expect from what is still technically a hip hop blog, but still a good look nevertheless. So consider this your invitation to the bandwagon, where you can have a comfortable seat as opposed to having to run alongside me just because you were late to the party.

August's episode of RandoMax Radio, available after the jump.

Episode 10 compiles another sixteen tracks from varying genres that converge into a singular listening experience, one that is much more cohesive than one would believe. I'm hardly the first person to encourage folks to listen to more than one genre of music, but if I'm helping you in even just a small way to expand your musical horizons, I'll accept your thanks later.

If you want to know what the hell it was you just listened to, check back in a few weeks for the official tracklist.

  2. Yesss, Pale Shelter, which I first heard on Wave 103 radio in GTA: Vice City... Max's love of Tears for Fears and synthpop/new wave in general is somehow both hilariously unlikely and awesome.

    1. If you enjoyed that, there's nine previous episodes that you may find some good stuff on as well.
