RandoMax Radio Episode #46!

I can’t let August slip by without publishing another episode of the ongoing RandoMax Radio concern. It could be argued that this series is needed now more than ever – if there were a time when a virtual, if not literal, escape from the pressing concerns of the outside world (whether they be political, global, or personal) was necessary, it’s absolutely now. Press ‘play’ on this month’s entry and let the musical notes sweep you into a pleasant safe space.

Episode number forty-six, which I just realized is very close to fifty and now it feels like the nonexistent pressure is beginning to ramp up, features another round of sixteen great-to-great tracks from various musical genres, although in glancing at its tracklist (which you’ll get at a later date, of course), it certainly seems like I was in a whole mood when I compiled this one. Which isn’t a bad thing: you’ll still find your new favorite song here, just as always, but some of the choices you’ll likely not have seen coming.

You’ll see the tracklist soon, I promise, but for now, enjoy this leisurely stroll through my funhouse.

EDIT: Okay.

RANDOMAX RADIO EPISODE #46:

1. Amel Larrieux – “Get Up”
2. Flesh For Lulu – “I Go Crazy”
3. The Presets – “Girl and the Sea”
4. Nx Worries – “Link Up”
5. The Cure – “A Forest”
6. Kid Cudi – “Pursuit of Happiness” (featuring MGMT and Ratatat)
7. U2 – “Please”
8. The B-52’s – “Legal Tender”
9. Le Tigre – “Friendship Station”
10. SAULT – “Eternal Life”
11. Large Professor – “The Mad Scientist”
12. Black Milk – “Could It Be”
13. Deltron 3030 – “Things You Can Do”
14. Lo Fidelity Allstars – “Battleflag” (featuring Pigeonhed)
15. Cannibal Ox – “Stress Rap”
16. Blood Cultures – “Set It On Fire”

These are all great songs that deserve much wider audiences, and if there was a way to listen to them that would guarantee they would receive some sort of royalty, why would you want to deprive the artist? That’s just mean. Share/repost this mix across your socials, and while you’re at it, jump onto the Patreon and secure your spot to support the written word, since, as you’ve likely noticed, the posts over here are running much more infrequently. Every little bit helps keep these projects sustainable, and I would certainly appreciate it.

Enjoy!

-Max
