The Max-Approved Mixtape - Episode #26! (Brought to you by RandoMax Radio)

This month’s entry into the hallowed halls of the Max-Approved Mixtape may be a little bit delayed, but it’s still always on time. As per usual, included wherein are ten great songs that I personally co-sign, some of which you’ve heard of, some you haven’t, and maybe one or two that you’ll be surprised to learn that I actually like given what I’ve chosen to write about on the blogs, but if I could describe them each with a single word, I’d run with “entertaining”. Because that’s what music is ultimately supposed to be: it can challenge you, alter your perception, and upset the status quo, but music isn’t capable of having that kind of impact if it isn’t enjoyable to fucking listen to first.

Episode number twenty-six provides another ten reasons why our chosen culture isn’t going to die anytime soon. Collect them all!

MAX-APPROVED MIXTAPE EPISODE #26:

1. O.F.T.B. – “Hot One”
2. Big Ghost LTD – “Gladiator School” (featuring Daniel Son, Asun Eastwood, Recognize Ali, Ty Farris, Rome Streetz, Mooch, Rigz, Rahiem Supreme, Estee Nack, & Lukey Cage)
3. Killer Mike – “Boonies”
4. Jeru the Damaja – “Ain’t the Devil Happy”
5. Snoke DZA & Benny the Butcher – “By Any Means”
6. DJ Muggs x Meyhem Lauren – “Murder Rap”
7. Phife Dawg – “Nutshell”
8. Mobb Deep – “The Infamous” (featuring 50 Cent)
9. A$AP Nast – “Trillmatic” (featuring Method Man)
10. 2 Chainz – “No Lie” (featuring Drake)

These are all great songs that deserve much wider audiences, and if there was a way to listen to them that would guarantee they would receive some sort of royalty, why would you want to deprive the artist? That’s just mean. Share/repost this mix across your socials, and while you’re at it, jump onto the Patreon and secure your spot to support the written word, since, as you’ve likely noticed, the posts over here are running much more infrequently. Every little bit helps keep these projects sustainable, and I would certainly appreciate it.

Enjoy!
